A teen's shocking joyride through Auckland's North Shore on an electric bike - including a stint on the motorway - has ended in arrest

The 15-year-old's accused of stealing another teen's bike from outside a fast food restaurant.

He then allegedly drove the bike along the northern busway and onto the Northern Motorway - and cut through a football game in Forrest Hill's Becroft Park.

The speedster was finally arrested after falling off the bike on a Milford street.
