Potential for a wider inquiry into the supermarket terrorist attack

Potential for a wider inquiry into the supermarket terrorist attack

The Independent Police Conduct Authority and the Coroner have already launched investigations into Friday's attack at Countdown LynnMall which left seven people injured.

Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson says a broader investigation is something Cabinet will consider today.

He says it's early days, and those two reviews are already underway - but they'll take a look and see if there's value in further investigations.

Grant Robertson says work around the Terrorism Suppression Act and the Immigration Act is already underway - and will continue.
