    There's been a boom in the use of medicinal cannabis across all ages


    Official figures show over 108-thousand prescriptions were issued last year - a 130 percent increase from the year before, and more than four times that of 2021.

    Prescriptions tripled for men between 2022 and 2023 but only doubled for women.

    People in their 30s received the most medicinal cannabis prescriptions last year - just over 27-thousand.
