Police in Thames are hunting a person they believe is connected to a freshly launched homicide investigation

Officers were called to a Rolleston Street home just before 4pm yesterday, following reports of a street fight.

A man was found injured, and died in hospital overnight.

It's believed the person allegedly responsible is known to the victim, and there's no ongoing risk to the wider community.

A scene examination continues at the property.
