    The family of victims of a triple fatal crash in Waiuku, in Auckland's south are asking for privacy


    An adult and two children were killed when a vehicle went off Masters Road into a pond yesterday afternoon.

    Counties Manukau South Area Commander, Inspector Jared Pirret, says the family's grieving and coming to terms with this life-altering event.

    He says they're asking for privacy after an overwhelming amount of contact from media, extended family and well-wishers.

    He says Police will release the victims' identities when they're in a position to do so.
