Questions surround a meeting yesterday between public service boss Sir Brian Roche and former Police Commissioner Andrew Coster

The pair were spotted at a cafe behind the Beehive - just a month-and-a-half after Coster resigned as boss of the Social Investment Agency.

His resignation followed a damning IPCA report surrounding former deputy Police Commissioner Jevon McSkimming.

At the time, Roche said he'd have sacked Coster if he hadn't resigned.

Roche has told Newstalk ZB the meeting was a general catch up - but Coster has not answered questions on the meeting.
