Auckland Police have seized a dark-coloured Toyota van they believe was used in a shooting in Onehunga on Friday morning

It was seen pulling into a driveway on Arthur Street, where people got out and fired through the closed front door.

Police say they hit a person inside in the abdomen - before driving off.

    The victim's stable in hospital.

Police found the van in Mangere on Saturday evening, after a tip off from the public.

Detective Senior Sergeant Matt Bunce says they're pleased with how the investigation's proceeding
