    A Christchurch man's due in court - accused of dragging drivers from their cars in a string of attempted vehicle thefts


    Police were called to Queen Elizabeth II Drive after a three-vehicle crash, where a man allegedly stole one car involved.

    It was later abandoned on Harewood Road, and the man's accused of pulling a person from a driver's seat trying to steal another car, then targeting three more vehicles.

    Police arrested a 28-year-old on Papanui Road, and he's due in court today on multiple charges.
