    Lack of internet will no longer be a barrier for some students


    Chorus is offering internet service providers free, wholesale broadband to support up to 50 thousand homes that aren't connected.

    Chorus' chief customer officer Ed Hyde says they are working with the Ministry of Education to target some small school communities.

    He says Chorus is proud to get broadband into as many homes they can over the next few weeks.
