Top Pharmac bosses have met to discuss emails revealing inappropriate comments about journalist, Rachel Smalley

The comments made by the Pharmac CEO and other staff have been labelled unprofessional and unacceptable by board chair Steve Maharey, the Health Minister and Public Service Commissioner.

Maharey says he's instructed the board to identify ways of preventing something like this from happening again -- and wants it presented at the next board meeting at the end of the month.
