Police are urging the public to be alert for another scam email, threatening arrest

It claims authorities have searched the recipient's computer and found illegal explicit material.

It demands a reply within 72 hours, on pai of arrest or a hefty fine.

Police say government agencies will never contact you out of the blue and ask for a password, or credit card and bank details.
