Problems with Massey University's online supervised exam software, are not new

Problems with Massey University's online supervised exam software, are not new

This from the university students association.

Students report being locked out and seeing other students details when trying to sit exams this week.

The university's switched off the system it uses to check if students are cheating, for the rest of the semester.

Its Privacy Officer has also been engaged and the Privacy Commissioner advised.

Students Association Te Tira Ahu Pae distance president Flynn O'Hallahan says they began protesting against online supervised exams early last year.

He says they want in-person exams back, even if it's just to complement those online, so students have the option.
