    The Prime Minister says he'd pay teachers and health workers more if it were possible - but for now they need to return to negotiating


    Some 100-thousand workers in health and education plan to strike over pay and conditions on Thursday.

    They're asking for incomes to keep up with inflation.

    But Chris Luxon says the country needs to become richer - as seen in places like Ireland - if education and health workers are to get higher pay.
