    Students from the University of Auckland say they are still paying for accommodation fees, despite moving home during lockdown


    It comes after Victoria University informed students that they would have to pay a placeholder fee from Wednesday for their rooms during alert level 3.

    A student from Auckland University, who wishes to remain anonymous, says it's unfair he and other students are being charged for a room they can't even live in.
