Debate over whether schools should be forced to accept new students who have been expelled

Debate over whether schools should be forced to accept new students who have been expelled

It's sent legally binding letters to the Auckland and Waikato schools.

But Auckland Grammar Principal Tim O'Connor says typically the students pose safety risks, and the Ministry doesn't offer enough support.

He says if the Ministry isn't going to resource schools to enrol high-needs students, then they won't take them .
