The Ministry of Education closed nine schools and merged 15 others in 2012, sparking public outcry and later criticism from the Ombudsman.
Several sites were sold - including Central New Brighton and Freeville.
Right now, two sites - half of Phillipstown and Burwood - are in the government's disposal process.
Twelve sites continue to host schools, while Avondale and Hammersley Park remain government-owned for potential future educational use, though no schools currently operate there.
