Dunedin continues to come to grips with the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old at its bus hub

Dunedin continues to come to grips with the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old at its bus hub

A 13-year-old has appeared in court charged with murder, after he allegedly stabbed another teenager at the Great King Street site on Thursday.

The regional council says it's working to make the bus hub safer -- with Police and city leaders aware of anti-social behaviour for quite some time.

City Councillor, Marie Laufiso says she was at the bus hub's blessing, where there was an outpouring of support.

She says it's clear all sectors of the community are hurt, grieving, and upset.
