The Public Service Association is accusing Auckland Council of a lack of transparency around potential changes to pool and leisure centre operations

The council is reviewing how the 22 pools under its control are run, and weighing whether to bring in more private operators.
The PSA's accusing the council of privatisation, but the council says under its proposal it would retain ownership over access, hours and pricing.
PSA president Benedict Ferguson says there should be more consultation.
He says the public should have a say over how their pools are managed.
Auckland Council says no decisions have been made yet and they are working to get the best model for Aucklanders.
