A crane operator says he has no time for people being silly around them

A crane operator says he has no time for people being silly around them

A video which appears to show a youth hanging more than 200 metres off the ground from the boom a crane in the Auckland CBD, has emerged on Tiktok.

Owner of Christchurch based company Smith Cranes, Tim Smith, isn't connected to the incident but says people also climb on to his cranes.

He says those people should get into the industry, instead of fooling around with them on the weekends.
