An expensive price tag for Electric Avenue's efforts against fence jumping

An expensive price tag for Electric Avenue's efforts against fence jumping

More than 70-thousand people are expected at the Christchurch festival on Friday and Saturday.

The Hagley Park event's spending just under half a million dollars on security around the 18 hectare site this year.

Festival Director Callam Mitchell says they've employed around 400 security staff - and a quarter of those will staff the fence for punters without a ticket.
