One New Zealand is bringing mobile services and technology to the frontline of conservation

One New Zealand is bringing mobile services and technology to the frontline of conservation

DOC has chosen the telecommunications company as a new National Conservation Partner.

Under the agreement, One NZ and DOC will pilot a range of technologies including satellite-connected field tools and sensor systems.

One NZ CEO Jason Paris says it will be another layer of health and safety.

He says it's also a cost saving measure which means the money DOC saves on older technology can go into other areas.
