    The fault of a crash in the opening race of the Sail GP season in Perth has been pinned on the Black Foils


    The tail of the Kiwi boat was crunched by Switzerland in the first of four races - which ultimately ended the day on the water for both teams.

    The Black Foils have been tentatively hit with an eight-point penalty for the incident, which driver Peter Burling is struggling to comprehend.



    Burling and the team have challenged the decision.

    The Swiss will race today however the Black Foils are finished for the weekend.
