That's no small achievement, given it opened as the country was in the grip of Covid-19 restrictions.
Commercial Bay has the largest concentration of retail and dining outlets in Auckland, and attracted nine million visitors in the past year.
Precinct Properties Chief Executive Scott Pritchard says they adapted to Covid well.
He says they had to avoid being emotional about it and keep an open mind.
