Over six-thousand drivers engaged with Police and undertook alcohol breath screening tests yesterday

Police say while most results were pleasing, they were disappointed to find some motorists over the legal limit by mid-morning.

One person in New Plymouth was travelling with young children and returned a result three times over the legal limit.

They'll be appearing in court along with at least five others in the coming weeks.
