Alarming findings about workplace culture in Christchurch's courts

Alarming findings about workplace culture in Christchurch's courts

A leaked internal report -- based on interviews last year with 23 staff, ranging from security officers to managers -- has labelled the workplace culture "toxic and sad".

Newstalk ZB's Emily Ansell says it's found room for improvement around leadership, respect, leave, and differences in approaches to work.

The Ministry of Justice says it's committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace, and takes all wellbeing matters seriously.
