A New Zealand veterinary pharmaceutical company's recruiting more than 100 dogs for a world-first cannabis clinical trial

A New Zealand veterinary pharmaceutical company's recruiting more than 100 dogs for a world-first cannabis clinical trial

Hale Animal Health is seeking dogs across Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Christchurch for the six-week experiment, to help canines suffering from osteoarthritis

The 2.5 million dollar study is the first time the combination of CBD and THC has been formally trialled in a veterinary clinical setting.

Chief Executive Leila de Koster says the dogs will receive a bunch of thorough vetinary treatment, for free.
