The number of retail property vacancies in the heart of Auckland is the highest in the country

The number of retail property vacancies in the heart of Auckland is the highest in the country

The latest Bayleys New Zealand Retail Market Update reports a thirteen percent vacancy rate in the CBD.

It's still an improvement on last year - October 2024 saw sixteen percent of shops empty.

The wider metropolitan area fared better at just over four percent.
