    Aucklanders are called to plan ahead for this weekend's Santa Parade


    Festivities kick off at midday on Sunday - with up to 200-thousand expected to cheer on Father Christmas as he wends his way through Auckland's CBD.

    Santa Parade Chair Simon Bridges says this year's highlights include the Enchanted Woodlands float and a visit from Bluey.

    He says it's a chance for Auckland families to enjoy something free, entertaining, and hugely exciting for children.

    All inner-city roads are closed from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
