Peter Andre is going to let his wife Emily pick a name for their new baby because they have been struggling to agree

The pop star and his doctor partner welcomed a daughter earlier this month, but she's currently still without a name because Peter and Emily can't find one they both like, so the singer has decided to step back and let his wife make the decision

In his column for OK! magazine, he wrote: "We're all in a baby bubble just now and Emily and the baby are doing great. Everything feels perfect.

"We've been trying out names that our friends and family have suggested, but then Emily and I don't seem to agree on them.

"So I think it's only fair that Emily decides - I hope she picks a good one."

Peter is also dad to Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price and Amelia, 10, and seven-year-old Theo with Emily and he went on to insist the timing of the birth worked out well because the older kids have been able to spend time with the new baby during the school holidays.

He added: "It's been great that the kids have been off school for the holidays so we can spend time together as a family.

"While we work a name out, we're just trying to differentiate between day and night. The lack of sleep is real already!"

Peter announced the birth of his fifth child on Instagram on April 3 the day after Emily, 34, gave birth.

Sharing a photo of the tot, he wrote in part: "Just minutes old ... We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.

"Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy ...

"Thanks to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily's parents, whom I adore. You have both been incredible.

"I'm so happy. Just off to hold her ... "
