Denise Richards is making her return to reality TV with a new docu-series

The 53-year-old actress - who previously starred in 'Denise Richards: It's Complicated' 16 years ago - has announced plans for a new programme called 'Denise Richards and the Wild Things' on E!, following her life with husband Aaron Phypers and her children

She said in a statement: "My family and I are thrilled to return home to E!

"Sami and Lola were just 3 and 4 years old when we first shared our story and now we've come full circle.

"[ex ecutive producer] Alex Baskin and I met when I joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I loved doing that show."

Denise has daughters Lola, 18, and Sami, 20, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen - who she was getting divorced from while filming 'It's Complicated' - and she later adopted Eloise, 12, in 2011.

She added: "This is the perfect partnership for our family's series as our lives are full of fun, love and unpredictability, and we can't wait for the audience to share this adventure with us."

Rachel Smith - EVP for Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentary at NBCUniversal Entertainment - described the star as a "pop culture force" and promised viewers a "beautifully chaotic" experience.

She said: "Denise Richards is a pop culture force and no stranger to capturing the public's attention.

"With her return to E!, we look forward to Denise and her family sharing their beautifully chaotic world with our audience, who will appreciate their candor and relatability as much as we do."

Most recently, she appeared in the ninth and 10th seasons of 'Real Housewives of Beverley Hills', before leaving in 2020 amid allegations of an affair with Brandy Glanville, which she denied.

In 2022, she said: "I've been a fan of the show and had a lot of fun doing my first season. Obviously, my second season was very challenging.

"I went back and forth with it and at the end of the day, I decided it was time for me to move on and focus on other projects that I have. I'm glad that I did it though."
