Kevin Costner's ex Christine Baumgartner is engaged to their former neighbour Josh Connor

The 50-year-old handbag designer and the 'Yellowstone' actor, 70, split in May 2023 and had their divorce finalised in February last year after 18 years of marriage and three children together, Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14

But Christine is now set to wed her financier significant other, after he got down on one knee in Santa Barbara last weekend.

A source close to the couple told PEOPLE: "It was about to rain, so almost no one else was on the beach when Josh got down on one knee."

Christine was expecting an intimate dinner for two, but Josh had other plans, and the couple are said to be "excited for their future together".

The source added: "They spent Christmas in New York together last month, where it all began.

"They are both over the moon and excited for their future together."

Late last year, Christine was said to be feeling "so happy" in the relationship.

A source said in December: "Christine and Josh's relationship started as a friendship, so they have a really strong foundation.

"They share the same values, and she feels so happy and supported in this new relationship.

"They're so in love. It's been a very natural and positive step forward for Christine."

Christine and Josh were first spotted together in Hawaii in July 2023, fuelling speculation about a possible romance.

A month later, Christine's lawyer insisted at a child support hearing that her client and Josh were pals, and "nothing more than that".

Kevin was ordered to pay Christine $63,209 in monthly child support after their divorce was finalised last year.

She had originally asked for $248,000 per month.
