JoJo Siwa is "not in the clear yet"

The Karma singer was rushed to hospital on Friday (28.11.25) after an ovarian cyst ruptured hours before a planned performance in Minnesota, and she's now offered a new update with fans, in which she realised she is on the mend but not fully well just yet.

She wrote on Instagram on Tuesday (02.12.25): "It's been nothing short of an eventful weekend that's for sure!

"Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers! I'm happy to say I'm doing a bit better, I'm not in the clear yet, but feeling better and doing well!...

"I had a bit of a scare with a fever the night after I went to the hospital, but slept and woke up fever free and have been since! Resting when I can and drinking lots and lots of electrolytes! Keeping it pushing!

"Thank you for checking in on me and sending messages it's been a beautiful circle of love and support that has helped me heal!(sic)"

JoJo has been battling through pain to promote her Christmas single, Message To The World (Little Drummer Girl), but was happy to meet her fans.

She added: "Aside from all the drama with my Cyster.... I've had a great week going around to different dance studios across America and teaching the choreography to my new Christmas song "Message To The World (Little Drummer Girl)"!

"It hasn't been easy and I've been up and down with pain, but seeing the SMILES on the kids faces while dancing and hanging out for a little bit makes it so worth it!!(sic)"

JoJo previously told how she was left unable to breathe and fearing she would "black out" due to the pain she was in before being hospitalised.

In a TikTok video, she said: "I had three hours before the performance, so I was like, 'I'm just gonna lie down and close my eyes, and hope for the best.' I lay down, I closed my eyes, and I was like, 'I can't breathe, this is really bad. Why don't I get in the bathtub?' And that set it off 100 times worse.

"So I got in the bathtub, and I was in it for maybe four minutes, and all of a sudden, I was like, 'I have to get out immediately,' because I knew I was gonna black out, and I felt like I was gonna throw up.

"And so I got out immediately, I ran to the couch, and I just lay down. I called my mom, and I was blacking out. And so as soon as I was done blacking out, I called my mom, and I was like, 'Hey, it's actually really bad. I think I need you to come up here."

JoJo was then taken to hospital, where an ultrasound eventually revealed an ovarian cyst had "burst and was bleeding into [her] stomach".

After medics told JoJo that the issue "should resolve itself", the star - who got "a lot of peace of mind" after being told about her burst cyst - returned to the Mall of America to perform for her fans.
