Taylor Russell called herself Rihanna's "little mini-me" in a playful response after she was mistaken for the singer

A journalist mixed Diamonds hitmaker Rihanna, 37, and actress Taylor, 31, up when the latter stood outside the Dior Paris Fashion Week show on Monday (01.26.26).

In a fan-captured video that was posted to X on Monday, someone from behind the camera said: "That's Taylor f****** Russell."

The Bones and All star then corrected the individual with an unbothered response: "I'm just her little mini-me."

Taylor - who dated 31-year-old singer Harry Styles from June 2023 until May 2024 - ended the interaction by expressing her joy to catch a glimpse of Rihanna at the event.

Taylor continued: "Yeah, I'm excited to see her."

Rihanna is a big fan of Taylor, and she even wants the actress to play her in a biopic.

Asked who could play her in a movie, Rihanna told E! News in 2024: "Taylor. Because she's got a nice forehead and she's fly and I feel like I want to be her, so I want her to pretend to be me."

The nine-time Grammy award-winning artist - who has sons RZA, three, Riot, two, and daughter Rocky, four months, with her 37-year-old husband, rapper A$AP Rocky - thinks could capture her unique essence because of Taylor's "stunning" beauty.

Rihanna added: "I want people to see me in that light. Just gorgeous, she's stunning."

Elsewhere, Waves actress Taylor previously dec lared the late actress-and-singer Dona Drake is "a beauty icon".

She told British Vogue magazine for its 2023 Hollywood Portfolio: "I'm very into Louise Brooks, a 1930s icon. I also love Dona Drake. She's a beauty icon and also super smart."

Elsewhere in her interview, the Escape Room star said she relishes "learning" from actors who have come before her.

Taylor said: "Learning from other actors who have walked paths that I would love to walk and have a lot of wisdom to offer me."
