Ray J's estranged wife, Princess Love has altered a protective order against him following his recent health issues

The protective order was put in place after the singer was booked into a Los Angeles jail in November and charged with making a criminal threat following a livestreamed argument during which he allegedly pulled a gun on Love.

However, she asked a judge to amend the order so that Ray J, 45, could see their two children, Melody, seven, and Epik, six.

Ray J's attorney told the New York Post's Page Six: "The restraining order was modified to allow Ray J to have unlimited contact with his children and wife."

During the hearing, Love told the court that the children "miss their father".

She added: "The children have been asking about him. They are worried about his health issues. I would like them to see their father. They would not be in any danger."

This comes after Ray J claimed he won't survive 2026 due to his "black" heart and a recent battle with pneumonia.

In an Instagram livestream, he said: "2027 is definitely a wrap for me. This [gesturing to his heart] is black. This is, like, done."

He added he "almost died" in hospital, as he opened up about the strain he put on his body.

He explained: ""I f***** up. I think I thought I had more weight.

"I thought I was big so I could handle all the alcohol, I could handle all the Adderall, I could handle all the drugs-but I couldn't. It curved my time here."

Ray felt unstoppable, and before his health scare he was taking "10 Addys" a day and drinking "four or five bottles".

He added: "I'm like, 'Ain't nothing happening to me I'm undestructible. (sic)"

He also shared that his heart was "only beating 25 percent", but he hoped he would make a recovery.

He said in a video: "As long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right.

"My health is not OK, so I thank everybody for supporting and praying for me through everything I've been in the hospital."
