Christine Quinn feels "really, really grateful" to be living in Texas

The 36-year-old TV star has insisted she doesn't have any regrets about quitting her life in Los Angeles and returning to her home state of Texas

Christine - who has a three-year-old son called Christian - told PEOPLE: "I am really, really grateful to be living here."

The former 'Selling Sunset' star loves being surrounded by her friends and family, and she's found life in Texas to be much less chaotic.

She said: "I have a sister who lives really close to me, and my son has a cousin. So it's really something that I needed as opposed to the chaos when I was in Los Angeles."

Christine quit Los Angeles amid her acrimonious split from Christian Dumontet, and she "absolutely loves" the home she's currently renting.

The reality TV star said: "I found a wonderful house.

"I would say it's like 60 percent done, but there's still some things that I want to do and really take it to the next level because I love interior design."

Christine also revealed that the move has had a hugely positive impact on her son, who has gone from being "non-verbal" to a "complete chatterbox" in recent months.

She shared: "It's just so crazy since I moved to Texas. I mean, he was literally a non-verbal child at three years old, which is pretty rare.

"He went from that to being immediately enrolled in school, having other kids around him, being so talkative, being so extroverted."

Christine believes the changes are a reflection of Christian's new environment.

She said: "Children are a product of the effect of their environment. And hopefully, that's kind of coming through now."
