Jessica Alba has made "forever memories" on vacation weeks after filing for divorce

Last month, the 43-year-old actress filed for divorce from Cash Warren after 16 years of marriage, but she is feeling "satiated and nourished" after a trip to Mexico City with her loved ones

Taking to Instagram to share a carousel of photos from the vacation, she wrote: "Forever memories made - feeling connected, satiated and nourished.

"#CDMX might just be my new home away from home."

As well as tasting the local food and sightseeing, Jessica and her friends also took part in some meditation.

In another slide, the 'Fantastic Four' actress shared an inspirational message with her followers.

The text read: "You are the woman your ancestors prayed for.

"They dreamed of you. A woman free enough to speak her truth, soft enough to feel her heart, and powerful enough to break through every curse they couldn't."

The final slide included a split image, with one half showing a picture of a band-aid with the caption: Healing wounds as a child."

On the other, the caption read: "Healing wounds as a grownup: Trip to Mexico."

Jessica - who met her former husband on the set of 'Fantastic Four' in 2004 - previously admitted that she was "proud" of how far she and Cash had come as a couple during their time together.

Meanwhile, she insisted that their children - Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and seven-year-old Hayes - will remain their "highest priority" as they go through the motions of their breakup.

She wrote on Instagram last month: "I'm proud of how we've grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years.

"It's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.

"Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time."

In May 2024, Jessica commemorated her and Cash's wedding anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram.

She wrote at the time: "I'm proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family."

She added about her and Cash's relationship: "Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another."
