Regina Hall "screamed" when she first discovered the "depth of [her] cellulite"

The 54-year-old actress has confessed to feeling horrified when she looked at her cellulite for the first time.

During an appearance on the Good Hang podcast, Regina shared: "It was a dressing room where I honestly for the first time discovered the depth of my cellulite. That's the truth, it was in a dressing room.

"It's when I started running. I started jogging. I was shopping with my boyfriend at the time, and I screamed. I'd never seen- I said, 'Is this what someone's looking at at night?' But you know, they don't notice. They just notice the legs, they don't care."

Regina joked that good lighting can make all the difference.

She quipped: "You know what I realised? I'm not ageing, lighting is just getting bad.

"I have really good lighting in my bathroom, and in my bathroom, I'm something else. In my car, not so much. But in my bathroom, I'm like, 'Mwuah!' I'm chef's kiss. So it's the lighting."

Meanwhile, Regina previously revealed that she feels excited for her future.

The actress acknowledged that time has passed "so fast" - but Regina feels optimistic about her future.

She told Woman's World: "I don't necessarily think of it as stages or decades. Each day and each year, I feel like I learn something.

"I'm shocked that I'm in my 50s, not because I am, but because it goes so fast. I'm excited to make new memories with a different vantage point and a different wisdom in life. So I'm excited to see what that part looks like."

Regina has actually found that doing laundry helps her to unwind.

She explained: "Sometimes I may need a week to recoup. Sometimes I might only need an incredible weekend, and it doesn't need to be a big weekend, but one where I can really take some time to get those things done that make me feel like, 'Oh my goodness, I have completed this.' Sometimes I just have a good day doing laundry.

"I know that sounds crazy, but it can be so soothing for me to clean my house and do laundry. To me, it's actually quality self-time, because I'm taking care of something that makes me feel good. I do my sheets and I do my towels and there's nothing like it."
