Margot Robbie would be Ariana Madix's dream contestant on Love Island

The Hollywood star has previously confessed to being a fan of the hit reality TV series, and although she's happily married to producer Tom Ackerley, Ariana has joked that she'd love to see the blonde beauty in the Love Island villa.

Asked to name her dream Love Island contestant, Ariana told Us Weekly: "You know, Margot Robbie said she's a fan of Love Island.

"I mean, she's not single, but I feel like she would have a lot of fun in there!"

Ariana joked that Margot, 35, would prove to be very popular with the other Love Island contestants.

The former Vanderpump Rules star - who replaced Sarah Hyland as the host of Love Island USA in 2024 - quipped: "She would be quite popular."

Meanwhile, Vanderpump Rules has undergone a reboot ahead of season 12 of the show, and Ariana previously warned the all-new cast that they have a "tough road ahead of them".

The reality star is excited to watch the upcoming season of the long-running TV show, but she insisted that it won't be an easy experience for the new line-up.

Ariana - who made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago in 2024 - told Extra: "I'm excited to see, I guess, how it works.

"It's such a hard thing to do, I think, to put yourself out there ... They have a tough road ahead of them ... Anybody, I think, who's done that has lived that, and I think they'll be great. They'll have fun."

Ariana also revealed that she learned a lot about herself during her time on Vanderpump Rules.

The 40-year-old TV star - who split from Tom Sandoval in 2023, after it emerged that he had a months-long affair with Rachel Leviss - said: "I've learned to trust myself. I've also learned to trust my gut more and I think I've learned that I can do things that are hard in life."
