Millie Bobby Brown has a "photographic memory"

The 21-year-old actress grew up watching TV shows such as Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place, and Millie feels as though her skills are perfectly suited to learning lines.

She told British Vogue: "I actually have a photographic memory and was learning things very, very quickly. I started realising that I loved that [acting] the most, that was top priority."

Millie admits that some of her family members, including her younger sister, share the same ability.

She said: "My little sister's the same way. I didn't know I had it until somebody said, 'How do you learn your lines?' And I said, 'Well, I just see it.'"

Millie was encouraged to move to Los Angeles when she was eight years old, and she urged her parents to make the switch, too.

The Enola Holmes star - who was born in Spain, before moving to England as a child - recalled: "My mum was like, 'Millie...' My dad was like, 'OK! Let's go.' The next week we left."

Despite this, Millie found that success didn't come easily to her.

The actress - who landed bit-part roles in NCIS and Modern Family - said: "I don't think I realised how much rejection was waiting for me."

Meanwhile, Millie announced earlier this year that she had adopted a baby girl.

The Stranger Things star and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, shared the news via a social media post.

The loved-up couple - who tied the knot in 2024 - wrote on Instagram: "This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption.

"We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy [tree emoji]

    "And then there were 3

"Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi (sic)"

Prior to that, Millie revealed that she was looking forward to the challenges of parenthood.

During an appearance on the Smartless podcast, Millie explained: "My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me."
