    Snoop Dogg's granddaughter has died

The 54-year-old rapper - whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr - and his family are in mourning after his daughter Cori Broadus, 26, revealed her baby Codi had passed away just three weeks after her release from a 10-month stay in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Cori announced the loss with a post on her Instagram Story where she shared a black-and-white photo of herself cradling the baby.

She wrote: "Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi."

She later reshared a previous post celebrating Codi's release from hospital just last month and captioned it: "20 days later? Dawg I'm sick."

Her fiancé Wayne Deuce also posted: "I've been the saddest since you left me Codi Dreaux. But I know you [are] at peace. Daddy will always love you."

Codi was Broadus' first child with Deuce.

Snoop has yet to comment on the devastating loss but he shared a family photo and captioned it with sparkling heart and prayer hands emojis.

Snoop's son, Cordell C. Broadus, 28, shared the same picture to his Instagram Story and wrote: "Lil sis, we got you forever."

Codi was born three months premature in February 2025 and spent 10 months in the NICU.

Speaking about her daughter in September 2025, Cori told Us Weekly: "That girl is so feisty. That's a feisty girl. She's so resilient and strong. She just has so much character. The doctors and nurses always tell me, 'Your baby got her mind. She's smart. She's alert. She knows what's going on. She can hear. She can see. Yeah, the circumstances are not what you thought they would be, but it could be worse.' That girl is just a sweet little firecracker."

Last month, she celebrated bringing her daughter home, writing on Instagram: "She's home. Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all."
