    A man is appearing in the New Plymouth District court today in relation to a petrol station robbery


    At around 10pm on Friday a man entered the Leach Street shop with a knife, and demanded cash and cigarettes.

    A 26-year-old was arrested yesterday and charged with aggravated robbery and assault with a weapon.

    The victim was shaken but not injured.
