A group of Auckland youths are in hot water after ram-raiding an empty dairy early this morning

The offenders crashed a car into Eden Park Superette on Sandringham Road at around 3am, before fleeing in a second vehicle.

Police saw that car racing down Dominion Road and came across it a short time later crashed into a barrier near George Street.

Officers caught a pair of young people at the scene - and the other four were apprehended a few minutes later.
