    Police have apprehended a 31 year old driving five times over the legal alcohol limit


    The offence was brought to their attention after reports of the man near missing oncoming traffic in the Southland town of Winton.

    He'll appear in Invercargill District Court.

    Police say it's a reminder to take road safety seriously.
