    Two people have died in a two-vehicle crash south of Cromwell, in Central Otago


    Emergency crews were called to the crash - on State Highway 8 between Cromwell and Clyde - around 5 o'clock last night.

    Police say a motorcyclist and sole occupant of the second vehicle died at the scene.
