Today's the final day for people to share their opinion on road changes around the new Dunedin Hospital

Today's the final day for people to share their opinion on road changes around the new Dunedin Hospital

NZTA has been seeking feedback on proposed changes to State Highway 1 Cumberland Street and State Highway 88 St Andrew Street.

Under the proposal, the westbound right turn from St Andrew Street on to Cumberland Street will be removed - and Frederick Street will become the new State Highway 88 .

There will also be a traffic light-controlled crossing, allowing pedestrians to cross in all directions at once.

The changes aim to create safe and efficient access to the new hospital.
