A South Auckland councillor says dirt bikers are running riot in the area and the community is sick to death of it

A 25-year-old man faces charges of reckless driving and aggravated failing to stop, after a group of 40 bikers reached motorway speeds on sports fields and drove into oncoming traffic.
Alf Filipaina says community groups have tried to reach out to bikers, but to no avail.
He says there are places where they could ride their bikes safely but they don't want that.
Filipaina says they just want to show off.
