Police aren't ruling out more charges now a cyclist allegedly hit by a fleeing driver last week has died in hospital

Police aren't ruling out more charges now a cyclist allegedly hit by a fleeing driver last week has died in hospital

The 39 year-old man was struck last Monday in Massey.

The driver of the vehicle allegedly fled the scene.

A 25 year old was arrested in relation to the incident later that same day.

He's due to appear in the Waitakere District Court tomorrow on driving-related charges and other serious unrelated charges.

Police have renewed their plea for people to stop immediately when signalled by Police.

they say it's not worth putting lives at risk.
