Police have identified a pedestrian who was fatally struck by at least three cars after walking on to Auckland's Southwestern Motorway yesterday morning

The drivers didn't stop -- and the hunt is on to find them.

The man died on a section of the State Highway 20 motorway near Mt Roskill after walking on to the motorway about 1.30am

Police are urging the drivers to 'do the right thing' and come forward.
