    The middle of the country can expect more wet weather, with Metservice issuing orange heavy rain warnings for a number of areas


    The warning for Hawke's Bay about and north of SH5 will last until 6pm Thursday with another 120 to 170 mm on top of what has already fallen

    For Hawke's Bay south of SH5 the warning runs until 6am Thursday with 100 to 150 mm of rain about the coastal hills and ranges, on top of rain which has already fallen. .

    Tararua District and Wairarapa are under warning until 3pm tomorrow with another 50 to 80 mm of rain about the coastal hills and ranges.
