Police have arrested three Greenpeace activists, after they occupied a Talley's bottom trawling vessel in Nelson this morning

Police have arrested three Greenpeace activists, after they occupied a Talley's bottom trawling vessel in Nelson this morning

Greenpeace says protestors delayed the ship from leaving, and hung a banner reading 'ocean killer'.

A 50-year-old woman and 45-year-old man, will appear in the Dunedin District Court, and a 52-year-old man will appear in the Wellington District Court, on Monday.

Greenpeace says they were brave people, who took a stand for ocean health.

Talley's says the activists had no regard for health and safety, calling it a concerning distraction.
